Overview
ECS Brokerage Event: a networking event for finding potential partners for your project idea.

The ECS Brokerage Event combines the brokerage activities of the industry associations AENEAS, ARTEMIS-IA and EPoSS into one networking event dedicated to project proposals in the field of Electronic Components and Systems.

This event facilitates the ECS communities and collects all project proposals and experts together, making it easier for the ECS research community to find and create information and project proposals.

The event is linked with the ECS Collaboration Tool; the online tool that enables users to initiate projects and invite partners, or use the messaging system to look for partners or projects, and to apply for a pitch time slot and poster space at the ECS Brokerage Event.

Participation to the ECS Brokerage Event is free of charge for members of the industry associations and for Public Authorities. For those who are not part of one of these communities, an entrance fee of € 300 including VAT is to be paid in advance (non-refundable). For SME’s a reduced fee of € 150 including VAT applies.

UK SMEs can apply for up to £400 per company for a travel allowance to attend the event using the form here (deadline 14th Jan)

Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), is working with PENTA to deliver a 2019 call. Up to £2m is available for UK organisations with the objective of:

  • Supporting projects along the Electronic Components & Systems (ECS) value chain.
  • Helping the formation of innovation “ecosystems” bringing together the best technologies in large enterprises, SME’s, RTO’s and academia to form dynamic new teams that will extend the State of the Art with the potential of subsequent rapid commercial exploitation.

Those interested in this call, as well as other ECS calls are encouraged to attend to help form collaborations.

If you want to know more about the EUREKA PENTA Cluster call you can find out more by watching the webinar recording here.
