Energy Harvesting end of SIG event

Event details
Thursday, 19 April 2018
9:30 am – 15:15 pm
Hear about Energy Harvesting SIG outputs and future plans and have the opportunity to hear about projects from within the industrial base.

This event, is the final part of a series of activity from the Energy Harvesting Special Interest Group (SIG), run by KTN, to bring together the challenge owners with the Energy Harvesting solution providers in the UK.

The SIG has run several activities in the last year, to identify opportunities where Energy Harvesting can play a part in enhancing the delivery of solutions in various sectors. We started with sensing in manufacturing and ended with IoT (Internet of Things) and Future Cities, with others in-between.

The SIG has also undertaken a survey and mapping of the research and industrial base in terms of capability, so people can better understand what the options are in the UK, a leading light in the world of Energy Harvesting.

The results of the activities and the mapping work will be presented at this free to attend event, and we are also offering the opportunity for any business providing an Energy Harvesting solution (where the power works on the system level in which it is harvested) to present on their work to the room. If you would like to present please send an email to Simon Yarwood, with the subject line: ‘Speaker slot at SIG event, 19 April’.

The event is open to all, and we hope to mix industry users with researchers and solution providers for a lively discussion.
