Commercialising Quantum Technologies Investment Accelerator event, 27 August, London

Investors interested in quantum are invited to express an interest in attending a briefing for the Commercialising Quantum Technologies competition

KTN, on behalf of Innovate UK, is inviting investors to attend an Investment Accelerator event on commercialising quantum technologies in London on 27 August.

 

As part of the Industrial Strategy, the government is investing in this area and Innovate UK, as part of UK Research and Innovation, would like to invite UK registered investors to partner with them.

 

The Commercialising Quantum Technologies Investment Accelerator is phase one of a two-phase competition to encourage early private investment in innovative quantum technologies.  The objective is to distribute a share of up to £12m in grants to micro and SMEs alongside private equity capital.  Grant funding is from the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.

 

This partnership approach aims to improve access to the financial and commercial support SMEs need to develop and market innovations in the quantum technology market. More information about the competition can be found here.

 

The event will outline the competition and give investors the opportunity to talk to representatives from KTN and Innovate UK.
