Automotive Challenge Network Roadmap Workshop

This workshop on 31st January in Birmingham will provide an overview of the research challenges identified for Power Electronics Machines and Drives (PEMD) in the Automotive Council Roadmaps. Delegates will be asked to give their feedback on the roadmaps, and for the community to gain consensus on the research priorities and challenges going forward. Read more.

Compound Semiconductor Showcase - video report

On 27th November, business leaders and technologists came together to showcase some of the UK’s leading compound semiconductor technologies. The aim of the showcase was to accelerate commercialisation and to stimulate collaboration between the research base and industry in order help companies scale-up and grow. See some of the technology demonstrators in this short video.

Industry Open Day at The Centre for GaN Materials and Devices

This event is designed for photonics and electronics companies who are considering a research collaboration to harness the innovation opportunities of III-nitride semiconductors. The Centre for GaN Materials and Devices is part of the Future Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing Hub which aims to establish the UK as the primary global research and manufacturing Hub for Compound Semiconductor technologies.
