Far Composites: Revolutionising lightweight materials for a low-carbon future
Building important partnerships and raising brand awareness was key to Far Composites’ business development.
Based in Nottingham, Far Composites designs and conceptualises new materials and processes, specialising in low carbon vehicles.  In 2014, Far Composites was starting out on its journey to contact and build networks aided by KTN who worked with them to make the right introductions.  Collaboration with Ultrawise Innovation, the University of Hertfordshire and several other companies resulted in Innovate UK funding for ‘Rapid polymer to metal joints’ development.
KTN involvement didn’t stop there and in 2016¬†KTN invited Far Composites to exhibit at the Advanced Engineering show, which helped¬†raise brand awareness, and gain face-to-face contact with a number of prospective investors.
