How can the food industry meet the challenges of transforming food production?

Posted on: 14/03/2018

Food Processing magazine and FMEG believe it is time to increase the focus on the role engineering plays in the UK food manufacturing industry.

The Food Manufacturing Engineering Group (FMEG) was established by Defra as an interdisciplinary forum to promote the uptake of advanced manufacturing techniques within the UK’s Food Manufacturing sector. It is joining forces with Food Processing magazine to conduct a survey of industry to establish what important resources are needed to help the industry meet the challenges of ‘transforming food production: from farm to fork’ which were set out in the Government’s Industrial Strategy.

The aim of this survey is to gather feedback from industry to help FMEG and Food Processing magazine understand how they can help you ensure profitability and success in a tough marketplace.

The survey should take approximately 5 minutes. You can access the survey here.
