KTN’s Digital Meet-up events

Every month KTN runs the Digital Meet-up event at the Digital Catapult in London.

 

Aimed at those operating in the digital space, delegates range from early stage ventures to more established SMEs and academics.  These monthly events attract upwards of 100 delegates from a variety of industry sectors, all of whom are working on digital innovation R&D projects and are passionate about digital disruption.

Each event features engaging speakers with some months covering specific themes – September this year was dedicated to diversity and inclusion and later this year the December event will focus on blockchain technologies.

The Digital Meet-up covers forthcoming opportunities in the digital arena and a summary of the support available from the wider Innovate UK family, including KTN and the Digital Catapult.  Not only are there fantastic networking opportunities, a limited number of companies (allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on the day) are given the opportunity to deliver a three-minute presentation to the audience.

Past speakers have included Tech Stars, Wayra, Microsoft Ventures, Virgin Start-up Programme, IoT Tribe, Realities Centre and Lloyd’s Register Safety Accelerator.  Delegate feedback has stressed the value of these events for making connections with potential partners and finding out about funding calls and business support.
