A showcase featuring cutting-edge UK businesses who are developing Internet of Things (IoT) solutions to help solve Local Authority business challenges is being held at the Digital Catapult in London on 16 July.

At the event, businesses will showcase their innovative IoT offerings, focusing on solutions they have designed to:

·     Cost-effectively and flexibly measure footfall data for Suffolk County Council

·     Monitor and analyse air pollution data for Croydon Council

·     Improve use of household waste and recycling centres for Thurrock Council

·     Help young people with learning disabilities travel independently for Sutton Council

This event is ideal for Local Authorities and partner organisations with an interest in IoT and how they can trail solutions in their local area.  Attendees will get to meet the businesses, hear from the Local Authorities trialling these technologies and learn more about how the Internet of Things could help improve the quality and efficiency of service delivery.
