Profile overview

Ben leads the manufacturing team in KTN which helps manufacturers to innovate – both in their products and in their processes. It does this by making targeted links to the right knowledge, partners, facilities and funding.

Ben started his career with ten years of product development in industry – first in a university spinout, then in a multi-national heating manufacturer. He then spent a couple of years in innovation consultancy before joining the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) in 2011.

Ben is a Fellow of the RSA and holds an MEng in Automotive Engineering, an MA in Industrial Design Engineering, and a US patent for a Detachable Fuel Cell Power Unit For Vehicle Applications.
